Back Ring S07
DESCRIPTION
Back-up rings are supporting elements with no sealing functions. They have tight fit in the housing and therefore protect installed sealing elements from extrusions into sealing gap.
The S07 back ring extends O-ring life and allows O-rings to perform in high pressure applications. It also has a high resistance to applied media, is easy to install and is available in non-standard sizes.
APPLICATION
Support element for preventing extrusion to the radial sealing gap. All applications over wide temperature range from -70 ˚C to +260 ˚C (valid for PTFE material).
