Gate seal GS-120 is used as sealing element for dam gates.
This seals can be produced and then installed in sealing device of different contour: flat, round or oval regardless installing diameter
Further, this seals can be produced and installed if gate has rectangular shape or shape like cyrillic font P on flat or cylindrical surface also independent of installing diameter.
Gate seal GS-120 for very big length of sealing contours can be produced in standard sizes and connected on site by hot curing process using special equipment.
Sealing device consist of seal (1), clamp bar (2) and pressure bar (3) assembled into line.
Seal is made from an elastic rubber section (A) and from hard rubber section (B) which are conected to each other to the indivisible whole.

Elastic rubber section and hard section marked on crossection of profile have different physical propertiees and their combination shows undoubted adventages.
Each section independently or in association with another section provides the necessary functional response to the external requests.
Elastic and hard section according to own properties have diferent functions.

b. Enable initial prestressing of the sliding sealing surface.
c. Allow the transfer of hydraulic water pressure to the sliding sealing surfaces
c. Compesate for the loss of the seal height due to wear
d. Retains elasticity and allows application at sub-zero temperatures
a. Ensure the stiffness of the seal to withstand the loads of the water height
b. Has sufficient elasticity to support shape changes during installation
c. Has a low coefficient of friction in contact with the sliding surface
d. Has a low wear value to achieve longevity
